Set aside
- There is only one place to buy pregnancy tests where I live ( over seas mil base) so it is embarrassing as it is. I am also very young and have 2 young sons wh o where with me. I also did not want my husband to find out I thought I might be pregnant. Items I baught with the test: pull ups, diper wipes, tampons, candy bars and ice cream.... theese registers do not have the rolling belt thing just the little stationary table area. As soon as I put it up there the lady put it to the back of my items closer to where the next costemer could see and bagged it last. Whil the whole time Somone my husband worked with was standing right behind me...

Cashier wished me luck
- When I got pregnant for the fourth time, shortly after a miscarriage, I was buying diapers for my 1-year-old and a pregnancy test. The cashier checking me out said, "Oh! Good luck with this!!" Because I'd just had a miscarriage a month before, her well wishes were not well received. I was polite to her, but emailed the corporate headquarters of the big box store where I made my purchase. They were very nice in response, saying they would address the issue with all their stores. I really didn't expect much to come from it; but, I found out from a friend whose husband is a manager at a store in another state that they issued a corporate-wide memo and had to meet with their cashiers about commenting on customer's purchases, especially personal ones like pregnancy tests.

Beyond random
- I was visiting a friend in Kentucky and got really paranoid when I was late. I made him take me to WalMart, but he picked up his best friend on the way. I confessed to both of them in the car what it was I needed to buy, and I told them that I was really nervous. My best friend refused to get it for me, and the guy he brought along, whom I'd never met before, bought it for me instead. What a guy!

Small town pharmacy
- I went into a small clinic in town where everybody knows everyone and everything. So when I got the test I grabbed something random off the next shelf down, I think it was band aids, and tried to play it off while walking to the till.

Pregnancy test purchases
- So funny...I have often wondered the same question and have always felt " strange" buying pregnancy tests... I just bought one earlier today and this is what I purchased with it.... Milk Duds, Reeses Pieces, shampoo & conditioner... I had a lg. pkg of toilet paper too but decided no on it at last second... but that's what I bought with mine!!

Some of this and that too...
- I went to three dollar stores looking for a pregnancy test, and no one had them! (I was embarrassed to go to Wal-mart or target) So when I finally found one I just grabbed a basket of makeup, candy, and hair accessories so they would overlook my purchase with all the stuff I got. I think I spent at least fifteen dollars on things I clearly didn't need!

Pregnancy test purchase story
- I was so sure the test would be negative, I bought a package of maxi-pads along with the test! I ended up not needing them for 9 months, hah! I did get a strange look from the check-out clerk for buying both items though!

I was embarrassed.
- I was so embarrassed about buying a pregnancy test that I made my husband go in and get it. He said he was proud to do so, it meant everything was working well, a sign of his virility, if you will.

Ex-boyfriend!
- I ran into my ex-boyfriend while buying a pregnancy test. It was sort of embarrassing, but he smiled and said, "Looks like things are working out well for you..." So at least that made it easier.
