There are so many reasons why people choose to breastfeed. Some mothers breastfeed because of the health benefits, other mothers feel that breast milk is best for their baby because of cultural issues and others simply do it because it felt right. What are yours? Share Your Reason

Why do we Breastfeed

There are many ways of looking breastfeeding... but the most important reason is breastfeeding is a natural way of looking after a new born.

Better for baby

I knew I'd breastfeed when I was sitting in my childbirth class and listening to the benefits. When I heard that it could help prevent ear infections I knew I had to try. I'd been plagued with ear infections as a child so anything I could do to prevent that was awesome. My daughter hasn't had a single one!

I don't know why I started...

but it just seemed like the thing to do. I kept going because once I was past the first few weeks, it was much easier than I had thought it would be. I'll breastfeed this baby too.
