I got my sonogram at 18 weeks and they told me it looked like a girl...I was really happy, and my husband is really happy as well he was expecting a girl he says...but then again its our first baby and as long as the baby comes out healthy and fine thats all that matters...but I'm really excited. A bit mood swing here and there but happy

nervous and confuse

I have three kids. Every time I was pregnant with them, I had dreams that it was girls. Guess what? It was always the opposite three boys. I am 16 weeks pregnant and I find out what I am having soon. I am so confuse because in the beginning of my pregnancy, I dreamed that I was having a boy two times. I got so happy because I said it might be the opposite a girl. The other night I dreamed that I was having a girl. Now I am confused. Maybe I am having twins a boy and a girl. I left it in God's hands he know I really want a healthy little girl. I strongly believe he has answered my prayer. I love my boys to death. They are very fun, but I just want a little girl around the house. I am tired of being the only girl around the house. Our family will be complete with my little princess.

unsure

I'm 19 weeks with my first and I honestly don't care what I have, unfortunately my partner and his mum both want a girl as it's all boys on his side I'm just worried that they'll be disapointed if it is a boy and I would hate that!!!

3rd child, ultrasound next week

We don't plan on finding out the sex of this child, seeing as we found out the sex of our first two. Then again, the fact that one is a boy, and the other is a girl is a big help for us to keep it a surprise this time. It's pretty difficult, though, when 2 others that I know who are due around the same time as me found out the sex!! :)

Just want a healthy baby

Having my 20wk ultrasound next week. I've had 3 dreams that my baby is a boy, are these dreams real? Really want a lil boy but if it's a girl I will be happy.

Thrilled!

I went for a private 3d scan with my first child because I wanted to know the sex so badly, and its our hospitals policy not to tell. I wanted a girl so badly and couldnt imagine having a boy. Everyone told me it would be a boy including my midwife. I was so worried that if it was a boy I would be dissapointed, so I thought if I found out before the birth I would have time to come to terms with the news if it was a boy. When the ultrasound showed a baby girl I was over the moon! It was in no way an anticlimax at the birth. I am now 16weeks with number 2 and definetly want to find out again. I prefer to feel prepared and organised. I feel this time will be more fun because I honestly dont mind which it is. I think Id probably prefer another girl, but a boy would be nice for a change, and it would be the only boy from my side of the family.

Unsure!

We have twin boys and I love them soooo much! We did find out with the boys as I'd had 33 u/s due to a complicated pregnancy. I am 20 weeks pregnant and am convinced it's another boy! My husband wants to find out but im not sure if I want to. I'd love a girl and am worried if I don't find out and at birth its another boy, I'll end up with PND (as this happened to someone I knew, she wishes she had of found out so she could of prepared herself for her third boy) But if I found out at my scan this week that they tell me it's a girl, then I'd wished I waited until birth!!! I'd like to experience both, knowing and not knowing. At the end of the day, we are having another one, not because we want a girl, but because we want another baby and if it is another boy and all is healthy then I'm sure I'll be happy...I hope!!

Not finding out w/this one :)

I am pregnant w/our fourth child and we are NOT finding out w/this one. However, we found out w/the third. We didn't find out w/our first two pregnancies and they were both girls. When we did find out w/the third and it was a boy, we were overjoyed because we already had two girls but I will have to say, I think if the third had been a girl, I would have been disappointed in myself for finding out! My husband and I both agree that it is just that more exciting not finding out til he or she gets here! Baby blessings to all :)

I was a little disappointed at first but I am thrilled now. I have a son already and we were hoping for a girl but were told it's another boy.

sad

I found I was preggo late spring and was upset about it. Then I thought maybe I will have a brother for my four year old son. When the doctor told me it looks like I am gonna have my forth daughter this pain in my heart won't go away.

Anxious

I go for my sonogram on Aug 8th and I am 20wks. I am hoping for a boy but for some reason I feel it will be a girl. I am very anxious to find out the sex. Eitheir way I will be happy to know so I can start buying things.

Definately a boy!

I must have mom's intuition already because from the start of the pregnancy I knew my first born would be a boy. I couldn't even impicture my first child as a girl although I would be equally thrilled. I could barely wait to hear those sweet words "It's a boy!" and on the day I heard words similiar to those "It's definately a boy." She didn't just mean she was positive that he is a boy, but he's, um, a gifted boy and the pictures and mouths dropping because of those pictures are proof. My guess is that it came from my side because it couldn't have came from his dad's side heh, heh (jk sweetie if you read this). I feel that finding out was the best for me because I feel like he's already here! I couldn't have waited until the birth becuase so much would already be happening that day. I have a feeling my next will be a girl, and if not, I know there's a reason for me to have boys! Good luck to everyone out there and remember boy or girl they were brought to you that way for a reason!

nervous!!!

This is the first baby for my husband and I .. Deep down I wanted a girl but told everyone I thought it was a boy just because everyone I talked to except maybe two people said it was a boy!! My husband on the other hand said it was a girl from the get go...so the night before my sono I couldn't sleep I was SO EXCITED but nervous because I was only 19wks and 5dys so I was scared they wouldn't tell me... But we went in there got our sono and the tech says your deff having a GIRL I was so excited I was crying and my husband already started txting everyone before I got to wipe all the goop off :) soo were expecting out first baby girl dec 19 and are VERY excited!!!!

Womens Intuition Wins

The moment we started discussing whether we hoped for a boy or a girl, I had a feeling it would be a girl. Several people either laughed or informed me that it would be a boy, but something told me "girl!" Going in for the ultrasound that would tell the truth was a little nerve racking. But sure enough, its pink we're buying. And daddy, who first argued for a boy, has the biggest smile on his face when discussion turns to his little princess.
