- After one doctor's app't I came home and proudly announced that my uterus was now "over my pelvis." This turned into "Elvis is over the Pelvis." Girl or boy, it's "Elvis" for now!

- Well, we started out with 'clumpy' - I had a couple miscarriages and to make light we called it "clumpy-stern", from the Howard Stern movie 'private parts'. Now we're getting past that, at 14 weeks, so I'm scanning through these to find something that clicks! Hubby still wants to call 'em clumpy though.

- After I found out I was pregnant I started calling it 'the blob', about two weeks later my partner walked in, put his hand on my tummy and went "So, hows Junior?" and the name stuck.

- My mother started calling my baby strawberry as I would be found having them any time she called me up in my first trimester. She used to tell me my baby will turn out to be nice and pink like a strawberry.

Omlette and eggy bread
- Our first was nick named omlette after mishearing what my other half called the baby and it kinda stuck, this baby is eggy bread as we decided to keep on the egg theme and thought fried boiled and scrambled just seemed cruel. Grandad calls baby goldilocks as he's sure its a little girl.

- We never really had any nicknames for the baby in utero with our first 2 pregnancies, but this time around we had an early ultrasound at 9 weeks. At the time the baby looked like a gummi bear so ever since then this one has been our little gummi bear.

- When we first found out I was pregnant we read something that said the baby was the size of a dot and so it stuck! Even the kids a school ask how Dot is before they leave the class!

- My oldest was nicknamed ET by my dad. My second child was nicknamed duck by my sister, but we called him Gus-Gus some what. I'm 30 weeks with my 3rd and call him Kermit. All of the nicknames were based on the the ultrasound pictures...
