Finish up!

Take your can opener and punch a hole in one side of the top of the formula can. Punch an additional hole directly across from the first hole. This will allow it to flow better when pouring.

Decide how much formula your baby needs at this feeding. Pour exactly that amount in the baby bottle. Do not pour more than you need because it is not able to be saved for later. Once your bottle is ready, it is time to feed your baby!

The nice thing about ready to feed formulas is that they are simple as long as you have the right supplies and can measure out what you need. The cans can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days. Please check your label for specific instructions.

Cover the top of the can with plastic wrap and a rubber band or with special top designed to cover the can top to preserve freshness.
