Using Colors as Baby Names

There are plenty of places to come up with baby names, and colors are just as good of a place as any. Some parents love the way a baby name sounds and do not associate it with a color. Though other parents will find a baby name that is a color name and use it specifically for that reason. Perhaps because it goes with a baby's hair color, skin tone, or a parent's favorite color.

Though there are also colors that leave you wondering, which family that they fit into. For example, is Apple a red name or a green name? Or perhaps you have a color that is such a mixture of colors you can't really determine which color family it really belongs to for all practical purposes.

Either way, baby names that have color origins are gaining in popularity, or have they ever really be unpopular?

As you look through these baby names, realize that they may or may not be unisex names.
