Placenta abruptio: this is where the placenta tears away from the uterine wall prematurely. Necessitating an emergency cesarean to save the baby's life and prevent hemorrhage in the mother.

Placenta previa: Condition in which the placenta is implanted in the lower segment of the uterus, covering the cervix opening in some degree.

Postpartum: The period of time after the birth of your baby, where your body recovers from pregnancy. Lasts technically six weeks.
