Christmas Baby Names

By December 11, 2007

Follow me on:

Baby names are often chosen because of a special time of year or event. Christmas is no exception to that rule. There are plenty of Christmas names to go around for girls. Boys names were a bit harder to come up with, but I finally had some come up in a conversation at a prenatal class the other night. Which of these are your favorites?

Which Christmas boy name do you prefer?

You could use Noel for a boy. You just pronounce it differently.

I also like the name Holly for a girl.

Hard one – I had a holiday baby and my mother wanted me to name her Holly but it doesn’t work well with our last name at all.

My favorite would be Noelle so I voted Noel.

There are so many Christmas girls names…I grew up with a girl named Marie who was born around Christmas and everyone called her Merry. And I have a niece born around Christmans who is named Carol. These days if people can name their kids silly things like Stormy and Breezy why not Snowy?

BOYS? What about Rudolph? Not to mention Donner, (ok so Dasher and Dancer might be weird…) Tannenbaum? I know a woman who has that as a last name…so these days it would be fine as a first name with the nickname Tannen. And of course if you live in a Latino culture, there is always the reason for the season, Jesus (pronounce Hay-zeus).

I Think Tasha Is Really NIce Name For A Baby Christmas Girl Because The Names Sounds So Confident And Out-going.The Boy I Would Have To Say Christian Because Its Nice For A Baby Boy And That The Name Is A Smart,Intellegent,Confident And An Out-Going Name For A Boy.
