- I had stopped bleeding and that was what my doctor told me was most important. It was also not really planned. The baby was asleep and we were snuggling. Things progressed, he asked if it was okay and I said sure, just be careful. He was very gentle and once I got over being scared of pain, it was fine. We certainly didn't have a lot of sex simply because of the baby but it felt nice.
