From the article: Foods to Avoid in Pregnancy
Sure there is a long list of foods that you should avoid in pregnancy. And most pregnant women do it, even if it means skipping their favorites. What foods do you miss in pregnancy? Is it the crazy good sushi at the restaurant down the street? Or a good Brie on bread? Do you miss hot dogs or hate cooking deli meat? Share Your Experience

Food I dreaded most in pregnancy...

Its really fun to be pregnant, you can't believe it. The foods I dreaded most are now the foods I love eating!

Fish and Cheese

Several studies recommend consuming healthy doses of fish during pregnancy. I have always craved tuna, including during pregnancy. I think we're too paranoid in the U.S. Anxiety about food certainly can't be healthy for pregnant moms. Do a bit of research, but mostly use common sense (e.g. is the food from a reliable source?). GUIDE COMMENTS: Yes, some types of fish are fine in small quantities, this advice is for specific types of fish to be avoided in pregnancy.

Sushi!

I've switched to vegetarian sushi for this pregnancy, but I really, really miss the real sushi. When we go out during lunch, I sit there all sad while my co-workers gorge on sushi. I think I should probably even just give up sushi all together since it's not meeting my needs. But, once I have the baby - you better believe that I'm having a huge helping of sushi, maybe even in the hospital.
