Siorse and Roisin
- Sheersha and Rosheen (phonetic spelling) Siorse means freedom and Roisin means little Rose. I think they're beautiful Irish girls names.

Real Gaellic Spelling Please
- Siobian - as a kid I had a friend who a teacher called Sigh-o-bawn. But it's much better to have the traditional spelling than what another friend's mother did to her second daughter - Chevan. Yuck.

Sean and Seamus
- In 3rd grade there was a kid named Sean. I remember dreading the teacher calling on me and asking me to pronounce his name. My brain couldn't figure it out. Finally when I heard it, it made sense and I really liked this spelling more than Shawn. I also have twin nephews named Sean and Seamus. Love those names, particularly Seamus. It's cool and unusual.

Love Irish Names!
- My first real introduction to Irish names was through Maeve Binchey's novels. I'll admit I made up pronunciations at first but I loved the names, even when I knew how to pronounce them. Ashling is probably one of my favorites. (Thankfully that one came with a pronunciation guide!)
