Chinese Predictor
- As a Christian, I normally don't believe in a lot of this hype. As I am supposed to believe that God gives you what he had planned BUT...I must say, my friends and I have messed around with the Chinese Gender Prediction calendar and it is correct EVERYTIME!!! We tested the info with our previous pregnancies and it was ALWAYS correct. Weird, but it seems to predict correctly. I've also heard about male sperm being faster but not living as long so sex closer to ovulation would probably help chances of a boy.

First boy
- We didn’t do anything except hope and try I wanted a boy as being my fathers only son its my place to carry on the family name my wife and I told each other that we were not going to have more than 3. The first two were girls now she is pregnant with a boy... All you can do is try wait and hope unless you want to take a drug.

I want a baby boy
- I was on top of my boyfriend when I got pregnant. We are hoping for a boy but we will be grateful if its a girl. I had a miscarriage last year, it was very stressful for me at first but I got through it. I'm so excited about this I can't wait to find out the sex of my baby.

- I'm 9 weeks now and don't know what I'm having we are hoping for a boy, we just have sex everyday and mostly twice a day not to get pregnant just having fun. Will let you know what I have!

Hoping for a boy
- I'm 7 weeks pregnant but not sure when exactly I conceived.(If it was before or after ovulation's sperm) This is my first and we are hoping for a boy but will be happy to have a girl. All the old wive's tales point to a boy except for me not being able to get close to meat but crave fruits and vegetables. (Specially creamed spinach during the night and passion fruit during the day) and the Chinese gender chart which I don't believe in anyway. I am so happy because my chances of getting pregnant was slim to none but here I am, having a baby without any assistance. This is my miracle baby either way. In the end I will be happy with whatever God decides my baby should be.

Trying to conceive
- Were trying for a boy we have two gorgeous girls but to be honest I think you just get what you are given and should be grateful if we had a boy great but if another girl were still happy as can be. :)

How we got a boy
- I researched a bit with our first and found that having sex the day of your ovulation increases your chance of having a boy. Same theory of boy swimmers are faster, but have a shorter life span. Apparently this is what my aunt uses when encouraging gender in her horses as well. I don't know about all the position stuff, but in trying for a girl this time, we're doing the opposite...sex a couple days before ovulation, but not on the day of.

Boy sperm is not slow
- I'm shocked so many comments say that boy sperm are slower. Must not have done any research. Male sperm are FASTER SWIMMERS, but have shorter life-span inside the uterus. So if you want a boy, aim for sex only on day of ovulation and day after. Male sperm take as little as 2 hours to reach the egg in the fallopian tube, if ovulation has occurred. There is lots of info out there on ovulation & conception. Just do your homework on your cycle. If it's not regular every month, you wont be able to count on when you ovulate, or when to maximize your chances of having either boy or a girl. If you want to try for a girl, make love BEFORE you ovulate, because female sperm can live up to 5 days, but are SLOWER swimmers, so they will stick around longer, after male sperm die off. That's the best way to try to have either or. Then the rest is up to luck. Good luck.

We got our baby boy
- We had our first baby, a baby girl by unknowingly to us, we had sex consistently before my ovulation period because we never knew anything about sex selection. But we knew before our second baby, a boy so we made love when I noticed the egg white stuff, i.e. my ovulation period and it was by rear position with a pillow under me after reaching orgasm before my husband did and I slept off with the pillow under me but we still committed everything in God's hand because He's the giver of children.

- We have never tried for a particular sex. We have 4 beautiful daughters and are planning another 2 children. We are pregnant with #5 now and this time it's a boy. We have always done the same thing when trying to conceive... and that's simply have heaps of sex everyday. I don't believe there is any rules to these things. I think you get what your meant to have. So long as baby is healthy, that's all that matters.

How we got a boy first
- We tracked when we thought ovulation should occur. We literally had sex every day and twice on Sunday. The more fresh sperm in the better since they are fast but short-lived. I put my legs up on the wall after every time for at least 10 minutes and as long as 30. A pillow underneath was needed to a little support. I knew the whole time it was my boy. We couldn't find out at the first ultrasound, but I knew. Sure enough, my six year old will be a big brother soon. (Trouble on #2 but it will have a big brother!)

We Tried
- We have a beautiful daughter and my husband wanted a son. So we read all the books and did everything it said to do to have a boy. But we are having another girl. I believe you get what you get no matter what you do. Just be happy it's healthy.

Strange coincidence
- Every man I know who has been flying for a year or two (commercially, pilots and stewards) have had girls... consistently from that point on. Boys and girls before regular flights, then only girls after a certain amount of airtime... could be a coincidence, but probably a thought for fathers to be to think on.
