Sore
- I was cut, thank god I didn't tear. I had a 4lb9oz baby, she came at 33 weeks. It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had her, and I still can't stand for over 15 minutes or I get really sore and have to sit down for a while to ease the pain. I could barely walk for a several days after I had her, but I made myself so I could get use to it and get around better. I'm hoping it heals the rest of the way up soon so I can just get back to normal. I found this site because I was wondering if the stitches I had would dissolve, or had to be taken out. I was never told. I hope they go away on their own, though. This is the first time I've had to have stitches, and I don't like them at all.

Painful process
- Had 8 lbs baby and stitches down under, very difficult to sit, can't walk properly and going to the loo is a painful thought! Want to hold my baby but can only manage it lying on bed, getting in and out of bed unassisted still not managable, this really makes me unsure if cesarian stitches could be worse!

Very sore
- I'm about 6 days out from delivery. Had a 3rd degree tear. I am still so very sore. I'm sure it will be better soon but it sure doesn't feel like it. I've been using Tucks pads and Dermablast spray antiseptic which works fairly well. Wish there was something else I could put on it to speed up the process, but it has to heal on its own I guess.

Extremely sore
- I had a 9.9lb baby. My ob made a 4th degree cut (episiotomy) and then I still tore all the way through. I had a 4th degree tear, which required stitches. It was still sore to stand up, walk and sit down 4-5 days later. I wasn't walking normal until about a week after birth, and even then I didn't walk very far. After 3.5-4 weeks, most is back to normal, but still very tender. Sitz baths didn't do much for me, but the squirt bottle and tucks pads worked great.

Sore for a bit.
- I was a bit tender but not much more than that but I didn't have any stitches. My midwife had me use different positions and helped ease the baby out. I was so glad!
