Very Low Iron
- When I first told my iron was low I was given a prescription. The pills were making me sick. I have now been given other pills which are very small and don't bother me sick (feralet). The nurse said liver also is good for your iron but instead I would rather green veggies.....

Never anemic before
- This is my third pregnancy and I never had a issue with it before... I told my doctor that I would rather eat a cup of ice then to eat a meal and I have been so tired with this one. Come to find out when I had my sugar test done my iron was tested to and I am anemic... I eat a lot of green veggies and red meats.

Eat your veggies!
- My doctor said I was anemic and gave me iron pills that made me sick. The midwife in his practice told me how to change my diet. The doc said it probably wouldn't work, but when I was no longer anemic he told me to keep taking the vitamins and boy was he surprised when I told him it was my veggies. So he said, "Keep eating your veggies - it's working!"

I was anemic.
- I had heard about anemia being a possibility. I was so tired and I just chalked it up to pregnancy, but my doctor said it was low iron. I was told I had to get my blood iron levels up or no epidural.
