No. It was due the next day, but it was an important day and I really wanted to know.

I was 13 days from ovulation.

We had been trying to get pregnant for over a year, but we had recently made some changes to help pinpoint ovulation better so we were more confident.

Taking the Pregnancy Test
I used first morning urine because I was testing early. I figured I'd be better off by stacking the odds in my favor for a true positive rather than a false negative if we used that urine. I had trouble sleeping all night, waiting to take the test. I was also afraid that I wouldn't remember and go to the bathroom first. So I close the toilet lid and put a plastic cup on the seat so I'd see it first.
I watched the colors go through the windows. How nerve wracking! Seriously, it was all positive, then not, then positive! I didn't like that part.
About the Pregnancy Test
It was an E.p.t. It was highly recommended from friends and said it picked up the least amount of hormones in your urine. It was also more expensive, though now I know that doesn't mean anything. Next time I'll get a less expensive test.
Tips and Tricks
- Don't be fooled by packaging.
- The most expensive test isn't the always the best test.
