My Current Pregnancy

I am currently 8 weeks pregnant with another little wonderful miracle since doctors told me I could never get pregnant! I am so happy!

Anything Else

I have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and base doctors told me I'd never have kids that made me so heartbroken but I have a wonderful 2 year old son to show to them I call him my little miracle child that shows me anything in life is possible!

My Pregnancy Loss

I had a miscarriage Christmas Day 2006 I was only around 6 weeks pregnant and was so heartbroken I was at a family dinner I had no clue why me and why this day but I learned it does happen to many people and that time heals! This also helped me realize doctors were wrong and then I knew at least I could get pregnant.

Deciding to Get Pregnant Again

We always knew we wanted kids 2 or 3 or whatever we were blessed with! This was just a dream I always had like most women I'm sure. After miscarriage I was so hurt so bad I just laid in bed most days and cried and didn't know what to do. I had a follow up with a different doctor on base and he told me honey the good thing is you know you can get pregnant that's the main thing so one bad doctor that told you you'd never have kids or have the opportunity to was wrong don't wait just start trying again and if it's meant to be it will happen! So a month later I never got a regular period and I had taken a few tests like 2 weeks after miscarriage and they were negative so 4-5 weeks after I took a test and it was positive I just had a good feeling about this pregnancy and it was a great pregnancy I now have a 2 1/2 year old precious baby boy that was born Oct 2007! I am currently pregnant again 8 weeks and I am so happy but the thought of miscarriage will always be in back of my mind but I try to always think positive and am a strong person of prayer so I really hope this will be another happy and healthy blessing so my son will have him a playmate and let our family expand!

Advice

  • Don't give up miracles do happen I have one little precious toddler boy to show for that, no matter what some doctor tells you they don't always know everything but they can give you their guess and it's not always right! I wish everyone who is trying to get pregnant the best of luck sometimes it just takes time. We never used any protection after my son turned 9 months old, he's 2 1/2 so sometimes it does take time but it will all be worth it. I'm 8 weeks and I would love a girl but will be happy with either one long as they're happy and healthy!
