Reader Stories: Placenta Previa Stories

Placenta previa is often diagnosed in midpregnancy by ultrasound. But it can also be diagnosed later in pregnancy. You may have no symptoms, or you may have symptoms like bleeding. The vast majority of time, the placenta is no longer near the cervix at term, but if it is there can be complications so a c-section is often recommended. Placenta previa is also more common in pregnancies following a c-section. But one thing women who have experienced placenta previa agree on is that they want to hear from others who have also had placenta previa.
