13 Week Intelligender - Results Wrong

Submit an Entry: Intelligender - Gender Prediction Test Stories

From Nina

Why I did the Intelligender Test

We did Intelligender because we saw it on TV. The test results are supposed to be upwards of 80% correct. Since it was our first, we decided to give it a shot.

My Intelligender Test Experience

Like most urine tests, it requires use of the first morning pee. Luckily I read the directions the night before because it's kind of complicated when you first wake up and are still groggy. After peeing into a cup about the size of a dentists plastic cup, you take the syringe provided and suction out the indicated measurement of urine (I think it was 10ml but don't quote me on that). Take the full syringe and place it into the cap of the container that is sealed and appears to have powder flakes in it. Gently empty the syringe into the container, swirl the container (don't shake) and place on a flat surface to rest. Now the news segments all said wait ten minutes but the directions in my Intelligender test said wait exactly five and compare the results to the color chart. The chart is on the bottle so it's easy enough to read. Green for boy and orange for girl. Immediately and for the next ten minutes my test stayed green.

Tips and Tricks

  • Make sure you have plenty of open counter space because it requires flat surfaces and the containers are about an inch in diameter and there are two of them.

How far along were you when you did the test?

I was 13 weeks pregnant and this was confirmed by an ultrasound.

Were the results correct? (Ultrasound or Birth?)

According to the ultrasound we just had at 20 weeks, 5 days...the results were WRONG. We are having a girl.

Girl or Boy: Which did Intelligender predict?

The test indicated very clearly that we would be having a boy.
