My Baby Shower Decoration

This is a cool Baby Rattle Tree

How I Did It:

At all the baby showers I have hosted, One big hit for a centerpiece is what I call a "Rattle Tree." I do not remember where I had seen the idea or if I got it from the "money tree" idea at parities. I choose a branch from a tree with at least a 1/4" stalk but no bigger than 3/4" that has several other branches coming off from it shaped as close to a little bare tree.Put the branch in a pot with dirt or Styrofoam and decorate to your liking. Tie little pink and blue ribbons or main color if you know the sex of the baby on it. In the shower invitations ask that each person bring one small item to hang on the tree. I always add a sample list. These are my suggestions.

* ROLL OF FILM

* PACIFIER

* SMALL BABY BOTTLE

* NAIL CLIPPERS

* RATTLE

* SMALL TEETHING RING

* BABY SPOON

* ETC...

Tips and Tricks

  • Remember, you don't want them real big or to heavy.
  • Most of these items come sealed in a package with a hole at the top where you can slide on the branches.
  • This makes an excellent center piece and a very handy thing for Mom to take home.
