Pregnancy Symptoms:

The early signs of pregnancy usually begin to abate by the 13th week of pregnancy. In fact many women say that they feel the best they've every felt in the second trimester. Other than some mild pregnancy symptoms, like increased urination there isn't a whole lot going on. Though care of your body is still very important.

Prenatal Care:

Prenatal care in the 2nd trimester is still at the monthly level. Many women are able to better enjoy their pregnancy now that the risk of miscarriage is very low. You will also want to learn about tests like the triple or quad screen, ultrasounds and more.

Fetal Development:

During the first trimester your baby developed all of the basics for life. The second trimester sees a lot of growth and fine tuning of the earlier work.

Your Growing Body:

At some point in this second trimester, your belly will begin to show and you will most likely need to move into maternity clothes. The center of gravity will start to shift and you may find yourself a bit more clumsy than before. This is normal as your body adjusts to pregnancy.
