If you're dealing with some aches and pains in your pregnancy, like round ligament pains
, this stretch can help you. You start in a simple sitting pose, like a tailor sit
. Place your right hand on your left knee, palm down. Use your upper body to pull against your hand, twisting gently to your left side, pulling with your right hand. Hold this stretch for a few seconds up to 10-15 seconds. Relax. Pause and then repeat again. You can do this up to five times. Then switch and place your left hand on your right knee and repeat on the other side.
Some tips: Sit someplace comfortable. You might choose a carpeted floor, the center of your bed or even your yoga mat.
