Guide Review - Making Me: The Pregnancy Activity Book for My Big Brother or Sister
The nice part is that if you want to skip a day, choose an activity for a week at a time, it's easy to do without feeling like you've missed something. You might even jump around from day to day or even week to week depending on your child. While you can't reorder the pages, each page has a handy spot for the date, making it easy to follow.
There are spots that talk about fetal development, like talking about in early pregnancy how your baby's house is the size of a grape or an outing to suggest you should hold a cantaloupe at the grocery and decide if it's heavy or light. Some days talk about what a new baby will be like to have in the house or compare your older child's infancy. It does make some assumptions, like "Draw a picture of your baby sleeping in a crib." Though it also has an open birth announcement page that does not assume where your baby was born, making it easy to add a birth center or home birth.
Overall this is a lovely book and a great gift for a big brother or sister to be!
