Flavored Waters for Pregnancy

Adding Flavor Can Increase Your Water Intake

By , About.com Guide

Water is the perfect drink. And during pregnancy you will want to ensure that you're drinking more water and less of the unhealthy drinks like sodas and coffee. But if you're not a big fan of tap water or even bottled water that is plain, this might be a challenge. Here are some bottled waters that contain flavor that might help you increase your water intake and stave off dehydration.

1. Hint Water

This water comes in 10 flavors including peppermint, cucumber, pear, blackberry and more. There are zero calories and no artificial flavors, just a hint of flavor to cure the plain water blahs. These waters were very much lightly flavored. In fact, you could more smell than taste many of the flavors. Though with some the taste came after the drink was gone, but never overwhelming and never artificial tasting.

There were six flavors for the Metro Waters, including a Chocolate Mint. It was slightly sweet and minty. This was a bit more flavorful but also not overstated. No calories here either.
