During pregnancy you have specific vitamin and mineral needs. This is listed as the RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance). You can get your daily goal of vitamins and minerals through the food you eat or through prenatal vitamins.

Fat-soluble Vitamins

14-18 yrs. old 750 mcg/d
19-50 yrs. old 770 mcg/d

Vitamin D
14-18 yrs. old 5 mcg/d
19-50 yrs. old 5 mcg/d

Vitamin E
14-18 yrs. old 15 mg/d
19-50 yrs. old 15 mg/d

Water-soluble Vitamins

Vitamin C
14-18 yrs. old 80 mg/d

Thiamine (B1)
14-18 yrs. old 1.4 mg/d

Riboflavin (B2)
14-18 yrs. old 1.4 mg/d

Niacin (B3)
