I still have a list of stuff I want to get done before baby arrives, but I can't get any painters to call me back. Bah! How can I paint a kitchen without them? (Don't tempt me to paint it myself...) After the floor incident, I'm about done with workmen. I'm even considering renting a dumpster to clean the house. Now isn't that bad?
Week 36 hasn't been too bad, really just neutral. I did get the kitchen painted and that's done. But poor Benjamin had a fairly nasty bike wreck and standing up at the hospital all day was really, really hard. He's doing better and we're running around to appointments to get his follow up care. Thankfully today his sutures come out and the doctor doing that is in the same building with my perinatologist! They even said he could just come up when I was done. Sweet!
I have most of the items for my birth kit. I even found the elusive 91% alcohol to sterilize instruments. Normally we wind up buying Everclear, which is expensive comparatively.
Now if my side would quit hurting and I could find a position other than leaning forward over a piece of furniture... (I actually got in the position at a friend's house in front of her husband. Thankfully she's due this week, so he understood.)
