The drive back home was a bit more peaceful. It also took a lot less time. I actually was driving through Nashville when Nicole Kidman was giving birth to her baby - how cool is that? A bit of swelling that an overnight rest cured.
Then the floor guys came, which was an ordeal. I've been nesting in a weird way and a new kitchen floor was the big one. It took three days - not one and it was wild. The upside was I had to eat out all those nights. Darn!
My midwifery appointment went well. Baby is measuring right on target and is still vertex or head down. My blood pressure and weight are good so I'm good to go. My birth kit also arrived - always fun to go through it.
