Baby Eight - The Third Trimester of Pregnancy

Week Thirty-One

Well, a fairly uneventful week. We will finish up our childbirth class this week. Actually we will miss the last class, which I'm really bummed about. It's more of a party, but still. Someone from our class had her baby last week, she was due before me, but it still makes it feel closer.

Baby is transverse and breech, but more transverse. Since I have such a stretchy uterus, I'm not very worried. I'll keep spending some time doing hands and knees.

Ada turns three this week. We had a big party that was mostly fun. We rented an inflatable and the kids had fun, despite a nasty rain storm.

We cleaned for the party which made some parts clean and some not so clean. I'm starting to really want the house clean for baby. I also ordered my birth kit.

My back is hurting. I'm tired. I have to go to the bathroom a lot. Heartburn continues as does morning sickness. Does that sum it up? Not yet ready for the baby, however.

My OB appointment went well. My BP was 102/60, no protein, fundal height measured in at 32. Baby's heart rate was good but she neglected to tell me what it was. She did not feel for fetal position. I had blood work drawn for anemia screen and thyroid. Here's the kicker - I signed in the front office at 10:16 a.m. and was in my car at 10:38 a.m. Not much for discussion, eh?
