Guide Review - bumGenius One Size Diaper

The bumGenius One Size Diaper was something I was skeptical of when it first came out. I mean seriously, how can a diaper grow with your baby and still hold everything it needed to hold? Well these folks have done it. And they didn't compromise quality to do it either.

I'm not a huge fan of pocket diapers, those where you have an inner liner to pull out. But a friend showed me how to pull them all out just before I wash the diapers with a glove. I was sold. The bumGenius One Size Diaper comes with inserts for use with all sizes.

I like the gussets on the legs. I tend to have skinny legged babies. This means cloth diapers usually leak in this area for me. I'm pleased to report no leaking.

The snaps are easy to use to change sizes. However, they are not so easy that they change as baby starts moving around more. And because they fit most babies from 7 pounds to 35 pounds, you don't have to continually buy different sizes as your baby goes, which saves you money.

I bought these diapers because they aren't too bulky, and I'm tired of buying huge clothes to fit my baby's bottom. The only things I do not like about them are: 1)I wish they had a fleece liner to wick away the moisture. I add a fleece liner and just wish it was already there. 2) The velcro doesn't stay stuck to the washing tabs. Is that what they're called? The part you stick them to to wash. Mine are always undone when the wash is done and stuck to everything. That's it. They are slim and absorbant. And really a great diaper overall.
