When in blanket mode, there is a large, soft play area for your baby. The outer shell helps protect baby from germs, cold, wet floors, or just plain old dirt. The luxurious blanket is so soft and comfortable that your baby can easily use this side for naps on the go.
Since the bag can easily go into the washing machine at home, you can feel free to use it as a changing pad without worry about soiling it for long. When you have the Chic & Cozy Blanket Bag fixed as a bag, you can even carry diapers and wipes like a diaper bag.
To convert the blanket to a bag simply pull on the handles that disappear into the edges of the bag. You can then adjust them to the length that you desire. This took me a few tries to get figured out and it is not very simple. To convert it to a tote length you simply double the length of handle under the sturdy velcro. The attention to detail here is amazing. I love that the edges of the handles are protected with rounded metal to prevent the fabric from wear and tear.
To convert it back to a blanket simply extend the fabric. Then smooth the edges. You can even leave the edges up slightly to deter an adventurous baby.
I also have to admit that not only are the Chic & Cozy Blanket Bag by Chic Tots practical, they are really, really attractive. They currently offer four fabrics for a variety of tastes and none scream baby!
