We knew we wanted to get everyone in both families together, but how?
We were in the process of renovating a new home we had bought. And at the time we purchased it, we had all four bedrooms picked out...none expected to be a baby's room! So, my fiancé came up with the idea of inviting both families to see the new construction of the home. As we gave them the grand tour, we casually showed one of the bedrooms as being "the baby's room". Upon hearing this everyone was shocked and overwhelmed with joy! I thought it was the best way to surprise them with the news! We were all in tears. At first my mom didn't get it. She said "baby's room..that's nice...WHAT?..you're gonna have a..."
It was the best surprise we've given in a while!!!
