Maya's Birth

I had a 3rd c-section on December 2, 1998 and I would like to tell my experience.
I had my 2nd child on Nov. 12, 1997 and after almost 4 months, I was pregnant again. On the 37 week of my last pregnancy, I was told to have a sonogram to look the weight of the baby. On that sonogram, the sonografist told me that the c-section was begining to tear off and I was lucky if I would make the last two weeks, when the c-sectioon was planned. On the 38 week appointment, I told my dr what the sonografist told me, but she didn't wrote it down, I told my concern to the doctor about the risk and he planned the c-section for the next day.
On the procedure, the fact was that the c-section was starting to tear off! Since I live about 1 1/2 hrs from the hospital, the dr told me that if we have waited for the next week, maybe we wouldn't make it the both of us.
We had a beautiful baby boy, Jose Miguel, he weighted 6 pounds and 15 ounces and 21 inches long. We already have 2 girls: Jenise Marie, whom is 3 1/2 years old and Ana Maria, whom is 1 year old.
