Stale mate.

Yesterday didn't yield much in the way of information. Just told to sit and wait, something I'm not very good at. I'm so impatient, I just want to know if the babies are okay.

We did hear at least one heart beat by Doppler yesterday, but they didn't want to do an ultrasound until the bleeding had stopped. Because a heartbeat alone doesn't mean we're totally safe. We could be losing one of the babies and not the other. Or both but one is still alive.

The OB's best guess is that we either have an early abruption of the placenta or that it's disappearing twin syndrome where one baby simply reabsorbs.We go back Monday...
