I'm pregnant!

After months of trying, I've given up hope. Although I now own stock in a lot of pregnancy test companies, or should anyway. I can tell you where to get the cheapest tests and which test measures what level of hCG.

It wasn't a surprise that I tested. Or that I tested a bit before my period was due. What was surprising was the second line that showed up!

This will be our fourth child, and I wanted to make it very special. I had planned on whisking Kevin away to tell him over dessert at a nice restaurant, but my excitement got the better of me. I slipped up next to him, kissed his cheek and pulled the pregnancy test out of my pocket and handed it to him.

He's been around long enough to know what it meant. He just smiled a HUGE grin! So much for dessert.

We had agreed not to tell too many people until our first ultrasound because of some previous problems with ectopic pregnancies. Although I had made a promise to a friend at work (Hey Jim!) to tell him first. So I did tell him and then it spread quickly around the office, so much for keeping your mouth shut! ;)

We're having my hCG level taken to see if we can see an ectopic or miscarriage that way! I'll let you know more as I know!
