When my husband and I found out we were expecting our 2nd. It was around my mom's birthday. I waited until I was 3 months along. Our whole family got together for a birthday dinner at one of my moms favorite restaurants. She thought we were there for her birthday which was only 1 day before. I had a special cake ordered by the restaurant. I had gone to a party store and bought little baby items (i.e. bottle, ducky, pacifier etc.). They decorated the cake and brought it out and sang happy birthday to her. She did not know what to think, but finally got the hint. My dad was clueless.
