I'm not pregnant, that's a pumpkin!

Labor Updates: To find out if I'm in labor, check here!

October 14, 2000:
Thirty Nine Weeks

Well, last night was the full moon. It was also Friday the 13th. Nothing, barely a single contraction all day (not that I'm complaining mind you...).

Another mixed up day for me, part of the day feeling okay with being pregnant and able to go awhile longer, and part of the day feeling like I can't spend another minute being pregnant. I suppose most pregnant women feel this way at the end. I even tried to talk myself into believing that it would be easier to sleep if the baby were born... (Yeah, right!)

Thirty Nine Weeks, Two Days

I'm still here! I'm actually feeling quite patient (Mainly because I ignore the fact I'm pregnant...) when I am busy. So I'm trying to book a lot of things to do. Today I have two dentists appointment for the kids and a prenatal appointment. I may try to stay out of the house for awhile too. Away from the phone calls. Away from the knocks at my door. Away from the refrigerator!

My due dates is like 4 days away and there are many people who have already begun the calling daily. They believe themselves to be clever in that they never come out and say, "No baby?" But there is something in the way they say, "How are you feeling today, Robin?" that indicates exactly what they mean. I swear, if I said I'd call you for the birth, I'll call you! If I don't answer the phone, get the hint! I'm not angry, just annoyed.

The TUMS® bottle is nearly empty. I had been hoping to not need to purchase a new one, but alas I may have to break down and get another... The bathtub is still the most comfortable place for me. And the pressure on my tailbone, OUCH!

Thirty Nine Weeks, Three Days

We took the proverbial bumpy ride last night, so far nothing... But the pumpkin patch was equally disappointing, not a single baby worth keeping!

It was pretty funny when a lady on the wagon ride back accused me (jokingly) of smuggling pumpkins. And the spicy dinner didn't work either!

Thirty Nine Weeks, Five Days

Our anniversary was very nice, though I had contractions 5 minutes apart during dinner, which made me feel a bit spacey. We've had our last big date night for awhile. I highly recommend it!

I've also been being tortured with sensitivity problems, feeling really lonely and whiney. I've found addressing them head on has been good for my soul today.

Here is a list of when I'm not allowed to have the baby, I thought you'd love the list, from my family and friends:

No Baby DaysBaby Days
18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 1st, 3rd17th, 19th, 30th, 2nd, 4th onward

Gotta love this stuff! Kevin also would prefer not in the middle of the night, so that he can sleep.
