Twenty Two Weeks

Woo hoo! Another week down, even if I still can't keep breakfast down. Actually that is getting better, though not every day. I've also had to shift everything on my desk around to make it more comfortable for me to get to the computer.

Well, not much headway on the names issues. We have two boy first names and one middle name. We have absolutely no girls names or middle names. In every other pregnancy that meant we had the gender we had the name for - perhaps it's a sign!

Many of you know how I've been obsessing over my house. Well my dear friend arrived today to help me clean! She barely ate dinner before she donned her work clothes and grabbed the bleach. My bathroom is so clean! It probably hasn't been this clean since I was pregnant with Lilah.

My friend is a slave driver! She's killing me. I've cleaned and sorted all morning. But it's looking great.

Hilary and Benjamin started school today. I think that getting back into their routine will be really good for them. Tomorrow Lilah and Isaac return to preschool. We went to their meet the teacher day and both enjoyed it. Lilah looked a bit overwhelmed with all the kids.

The twins club meeting was tonight. A pediatrician came to speak about twins in general. He also has 17 year old twins. His wife didn't use drugs because she got to the hospital too late. You should have heard the gasps of horror. If I thought it was bad to have a singleton without drugs what will this group of women say to two babies without drugs? Even the thought of it!

Twenty Two Weeks, Five Days

We got the kids all off to school without a hitch. It was sort of fun shocking everyone at preschool with our news of two. Of course, as soon as you do that the horror stories start flowing. I try to smile and nod and say nothing.

April and I saw the midwife, we had an appointment a bit early so she could meet April. Everything looked good, so not much to report. Babies sounded good and the midwife said they feel like they are getting bigger. We talked a bit more about birth plans and emergencies, etc. Overall it was a good visit.

Then April and I went shopping for the afternoon. It was nice to have some time to play with her. Then she had to go home, but she did promise to come back. She even got to take the shorter flight home. I was asleep before she evern got there! I'm such a party animal these days.
