False Labor: A period of contractions that does not lead to the changes in the cervix associated with the birth of your baby.

Fertilization: When the sperm penetrates the egg.
Fetal Monitor: An ultrasound device used in labor and in non-stress testing to monitor the baby's heart rate and contractions. Usually done without the aid of a human.
