The Benefits of Breastfeeding

For those educators, doulas or parents looking for a great, yet inexpensive video to be your breastfeeding companion I'd highly recommend the Benefits of Breastfeeding by Eagle Video productions. Dr. Ruth Lawrence and a host of new parents show you the ins and outs of breastfeeding in a very logical and caring way.

The biggest draw for me was that the video really addresses many of the questions that new parents really have about breastfeeding, rather than skimming over them. What will it be like to breastfeed? How will I manage to work and breastfeed? How can my partner help me?

For educators who desire a video for class this video is short and sweet, with plenty of diversity to appeal to everyone who might enter your doors. La Leche League International actually helped develop this video, thus adding to its credibility. There is also a free preview available.
