Morning Sickness

Q. I'm 8 weeks pregnant and know better than to move very far from the toilet. Are the patche and wrist bands helpful? Or are they a waste of my time?

A. I would say try the Sea Bands®. They are like bracelets that hit an acupressure point in your wrist that helps prevent that nauseated feeling. They have been used for travel sickness ofr quite awhile. They also have the advantage of not containing drugs. You can get them at most pharmacies and health food stores. As for the patches I am not sure what you are referring to, but it sounds as if they would contain medications which may not be safe for the pregnant woman.
