The homestretch! As the end of your pregnancy approaches you may begin to feel tired again. Many women also feel a strong nesting instinct. This may lead to long or strenuous cleaning spurts. Remember to take it easy, drink lots of water and to have fun. Final touches on your living space may also feel more pressing.
Uncertainty about becoming a parent are also very normal as are fears of labor, birth and breastfeeding. Education is the key to combating these fears. Taking childbirth classes and/or hiring a doula are great ideas to help combat the fear.
Baby is getting bigger and loving life in the womb. Many babies will start to settle into a head down position, beginning as early as the 28th week. About 3-4% of all babies will remain in the breech position at the end of pregnancy. This final trimester is really a time for finishing touches like lung maturity and layers of brown fat to help keep your baby warm on the outside.
