Pregnancy Announcement

For my first pregnancy we decided to wait 3 months before telling anyone. I was going to be 12 weeks on June 27, 95 which was my in-laws 25 wedding anniversary. On the Saturday prior to the 27 we planned a huge dinner for the occasion with my husband sister and brother including there significant other. Desert came around and I went to get the Ice cream cake saying: "On your 25th anniversary how about being grand-parents?" Everybody just screamed and laughed! They were all so happy! our first daughter was born January 16, 96.

Our second pregnancy, I bought a single white rose and wrote on it for my husband: "we are due July 6, 1998".Our second daughter was born on July 16,98.

And for this little one (I am 14 weeks into this pregnancy as of Dec 8, 00)It was my oldest daughter's job to tell everybody. She called my parents(they live 13 hours away) and said:"there is a baby in maman's tummy". They were very excited and my mom started crying. She used the same line for my in-laws and they did not believe her right at first but with us saying that she was right made it all the happier!
