Kaileigh May Hearn's Birth

On Tuesday night Our car's transmission went out and My husband had to get it towed to his school where he was takeing classes to repair cars, Anyways The next Day(Nov.16th) I picked My husband and I felt like I had hungary pains and told him about this He wouldnt let me drive anywhere and said "Please dont go into labor till the car is fixed" HAHA He cursed us He went to school and My Mom and I went to the mall for some last minute baby stuff on the way home I grabed some Taco Bell (OH How I craved Taco Bell) While once we were home My cramps were getting worse and I thought GAS from Taco Bell so I called my Doctor and explained what was happening and she told me to try the shower I did that and as long as I was in the shower I was fine but the hot water ran out and that was it , My contractions did not have any patteren to them they were all over the place But my OB insisted on me going into the hospital to get checked , So I page My husband at school and tell him I need to go in , My mom and I pick him up at school and head into the hospital The whole Time I am saying they are just going to send me home, My poor husband is covered in transmission fluid from working on the car and says "How did I know this would happen tonite, a hour more and the car would be done" HAHA Baby girl was impatient I guess, We arrive at the hospital and they hook me up at 10:00 pm to the monitor and check me , I am at 4 cm and 90% effaced ..WOW I guess I am in labour , My husband was smileing from Ear to Ear, I dont think anyone or anything could have wiped that grin off his face, They said I could shower so Thats where I headed to and stayed till they kicked me out to move me to a L&D room and they need to monitor baby again, I guess the shower made her sleepy and the had to buzz her a time or two to wake her up ...After that they said I could shower again but only luke warm so I did and then The resident kicked me out so he could check me (I would have been happy to stay put in that shower the whole time it felt great)I was about 5-6 cm and he broke my water (WHAT A FEELING that was) that was about 3am I think , My contractions still were not painfull but they were uncomfortable and I was getting very hungary , But would they feed me NO!!!
