Pam's in Labor

From Pam: Hi Mommies!! We've been here since 6 am and they just got my pitocin started a few minutes ago. (right at 8 am) I've had one good contraction already (YIPPEE!!) We also just found out that our hospital has a Telemetry machine. This allows you to walk around and still be monitored. It something like a portable monitor that sends radio signals to the nurses. The monitor is about the size of a walkman, so I can carry it around with me. After I update ya'll, I plan to get up and do some walking and try this new thing out! :)

Billy just took a picture of Robin (my doula) [That's me! - Robin] and myself just to let ya know we're alive. Now, remember that I'm really swollen and I feel soooooo very fat right now. (so don't laugh...) Take care everyone and I'll keep ya updated!!!
