While pregnancy is certainly not the time to lose weight, it can be the perfect time to start thinking about getting exercise. Even if you have never exercised before, there are some great, gentle exercises that you can do to help you have a healthier pregnancy and faster recovery after baby. I voted “Other” in the poll, because I’m never able to exercise when I’m pregnant, but not for lack of wanting to! I’ve always had complications like HG and preterm labor that don’t allow for exercising. Exercise is always my go-to to make me feel more energized and better about myself, so not being able to on top of feeling down is very frustrating!

I too wish I had been able to exercise but I had extreme hyperemesis gravidarum and most days just showering made it a good day. I know if you have a healthy pg it can make a huge difference in a birth experience though.
