4 Baby Naming Controversies

It used to be that you picked a name for baby, you wrote it on the birth certificate and it was done.  That was back before baby name books, choices galore and too much thought really went into a baby name. In fact, some of these controversies didn't used to be so controversial. My grandmother had a cesarean birth in 1944. When she woke up, supposedly days later, my mother was already named by my grandfather. I can't even imagine, particularly given how my husband and I differ on baby name styles.

Did you suffer through any of these controversies? Did you have your own version of baby name conflict? Tell me about it.
