Drano and Gender Prediction

I was at a party last night and surrounded by pregnant women, even though it was a kid's party. So we all started talking about pregnancy and eventually we started talking about old wives tales. Our conversation focused on the old wives tales surrounding the baby's sex. The majority of our conversation was focused on the Drano Test.

Supposedly if you mix urine from a pregnant woman with Drano, the color of the Drano tells you if the baby is a girl or a boy. We had those who believed it wholeheartedly and those who thought it was a crock. What do you think?
