Wow! One of my favorite ways to spend 9 months growing a baby is to pick the baby’s name! I can’t tell you how many hours my husband and I have spent with the, “What do you think about this name…” conversations. Paying someone to do it for you would take away all of the fun. And what if they decide your child’s name should be something like Maynard!? Hope they also have a refund policy!

I agree with Apryl. Choosing a name is one of the only things I like about pregnancy!I’d never outsource it.

Catherine – I agree. However, while I’d never pay someone for a name suggestion (other than buying a name book), I’ve got to admit that we had a heck of a time naming our twins. We already had 2 kids, so coming up with two more was more challenging than I ever imagined. The second twin (baby B), wasn’t officially named until 24 hours after birth, out of desperation b/c the hospital kept calling the room so that they could fill out the birth certificate.

This is very cool. For me, I don’t want to spend money for naming a baby. A suggestion from a group would be helpful for us.
