Do you enjoy talking to other moms?

Talking to other pregnant women and mothers was something I didn't quite appreciate when I was pregnant as much as I realize now.  It was the groups that I joined and the friendships that I formed with each of my pregnancies that really helped me learn and grow as a parent.

Together as a collective group, all due around the same time, would discuss what was going on with our bodies and our babies.  We'd share stories and offer advice.  It was a really neat way to share what I knew and to learn from other moms.  In the end we each made decisions that were right for us, but we all agreed that we felt supported and stronger because of the relationships.  Years later, I'm still active in many of the groups I joined when I was pregnant. And we're still busy supporting each other as our kids grow.

Won't you join one of the due date groups and try it yourself?
