We should all rethink using paper goods every time we have a party. Eating from real plates is so much nicer! Martha Stewart and the other paragons of style have taught us that we don’t even have to have a huge set of dishes. Mix and match is all the rage. Since there are usually several hostesses for baby showers, everyone can pitch in, and cleanup shouldn’t take long. Also, avoiding paper is environmentally friendly. Great hints, Robin!
Thanks, Susan. I’ve also just remembered that pot luck can be fun too. Another thing about plates that might be fun is purchase toddler plates to use that later the baby can grow into. So it’s a combo gift and useful shower item!
