Postpartum Pain Relief

Having just had a baby, I can tell you, postpartum is no picnic. There were the physical aches and pains, the teary eyes (mine and baby's) and everything else. I remember being handed a squirt bottle and some fish net panties and thinking, "What on earth should I do with this?" Learn what you can do to make yourself more comfortable, because many women tell me that they simply were not prepared for postpartum and how it felt physically.

I loved the herbal sitz bath that came with my birth kit. The hot water felt wonderful, and the herbal bath stuff smelled great and was really soothing. I attribute those hot hot baths every night after the first few days for how quickly I bounced back. That and doing nothing but baby snuggling and eating! ;-)
